The sad news was released this morning that 18-year-old Victoria Siegel was found dead at her family’s home in Florida.
Victoria was the daughter of David and Jackie Siegel who rose to fame after starring in the 2012 documentary Queen of Versailles.
Upon the release of the news, there was little information. But speculation is beginning to trickle in.
According to TMZ, Victoria had a history of abusing prescription drugs and had recently returned home from rehab.
A source close to the family claims Victoria was battling an addiction to Xanax.
The family had been trying to get her help by checking her into rehab several times. Her most recent treatment ended two weeks ago.
Of course, the family is shocked and devastated by her death; Victoria had seemed to be doing well after returning from rehab.
She even attended a premiere premiere party for her parents’ recent appearance on the reality show Celebrity Wife Swap.
It is not clear if her addiction was a contributing factor in her death. Neither the family nor investigators have released further information.
