George Clooney may not be The Bachelor, but he still took a special someone back to Kentucky for a hometown visit this week.
E! News confirms that the very handsome actor and wife Amal spent time over the last few days in the former’s native city of Augusta, stopping at a handful of Clooney’s favorite spots along the way.
"George grew up around here," said Russell Dickson, the co-owner of Magee’s Bakery.
"They both ordered transparents. It’s also called clear pie or cellophane pie. It’s made of eggs, butter, sugar and milk. It was her first time having one and she absolutely loved it."
Dickson also said Amal is a big fan of “country breakfasts, biscuits and gravy.”
According to an insider, meanwhile, Clooney was even seen playing basketball in the Augusta High School gym with a bunch of students

Perhaps this trip and the happy photo posted above can put to rest those sham George Clooney marriage rumors at last.
