On April 24, Bruce Jenner will sit down with Diane Sawyer and put the rumors to rest once and for all.
It’s expected that Bruce will confirm his sex change, and possibly even make major reveals, such as the date of his operation and whether or not he’ll be going by a new name.
The Olympian has received mixed reactions from his family, and sources say he’s been shunned by the Kardashians, as they view his transition as a threat to their multi-media empire.
Despite initial reports claiming that the entire K-clan has cut ties with Bruce, it now looks as though one of Bruce’s former step-daughters is standing by him and she’s trying to get the rest of the family to see things from his perspective.
“Kourtney has been playing mediator between Bruce and Kris because she is the only one that Bruce will listen to out of the three Kardashian girls,” a source tells Radar Online.
Yes, Kris’ reaction to Jenner’s sex change has been the harshest of them all, and it’s widely believed that the momager has influenced her daughters in their decisions to cut ties with Bruce.
In fact, insiders say Kris is having such a difficult time with her ex-husband’s transition that she’s found herself unable to be alone with him and has asked Kourtney to play middle-man.
“Kris asked Kourtney for her help because really wanted to talk to Bruce," says the source. “Kris thinks that she can help Bruce become the classy woman that he is looking to become because she sees herself as the epitome of class."
Yup. Kris Jenner sees herself as "the epitome of class" and she wants to help Bruce even though she can’t look him in the eye.
It’s all pretty ridiculous, but it’s not hard to see why Kourtney is willing to go along with it.
"Kourtney is trying to save her family," says one insider. It’s a big task for a woman who already has a whole lot on her plate.
