The whole world is pretty much on hold as it anxiously awaits the birth of Kate Middleton and Prince William’s second child, likely by the end of April.
We know Prince William has started paternity leave, but the big question remains:
Will the royal couple have a back-up prince or princess???
And though many fingers are crossed for the Duke and Duchess to have a little girl, Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith says even if this baby isn’t, there’s always the next.
He thinks there will be many more chances for the duo to have a daughter, in fact!
"I don’t think they’ll stop at two, so if it isn’t a girl this time round, people shouldn’t be too disappointed," says Goldsmith. “I’m sure there’ll be a girl in the mix at some point."
Luckily for Kate and William’s babies, they are coming from a beautiful gene pool.
This isn’t lost on her uncle, who states, ”Kate was a beautiful girl and, if she were to have a girl, she’ll be equally as beautiful.”
Katie Middleton will deliver the baby in a luxury room at Lindo Wing at Paddington’s St. Mary’s hospital – the place where Prince George was born two years ago.
Amid threats from terrorists and stalkers, the room has been beefed up with additional security, while two other hospitals have been readied as well.
The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to go into labor any day now.
Goldsmith, personally, is hoping for an April 29 delivery so he can have a mutual birthday with his newest niece or nephew.
The date is also Kate and William’s fourth wedding anniversary.
Until the delivery, whenever it comes, Kate is relaxing at Kensington Palace after a weekend visit with her parents, Carole and Michael, in Bucklebury.
"George was in a cute jacket and was having the time of his life, if those giggles were anything to go by," an eyewitness claims.
The witness also claims that the 33-year-old is looking slim from the back, which according to tradition, could mean baby #2 must be a boy.
