Surprise! Friendships are fickle on the Real Housewives. This time, the drama is in Atlanta between former friends Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks.
The drama between the southern belles started when former supermodel Cynthia Bailey and her husband spread rumors that Parks was having an affair with a man named Chocolate.
Phaedra Parks denied the rumors. And the Atlanta ladies have been feuding since.
Bailey, who has a history of troubled friendships on the show, doesn’t predict a rekindling of their relationship.
According to Cynthia Bailey’s Bravo blog, an apology from Phaedra is unlikely: “Apologies aren’t exactly falling out of the sky amongst these ladies. You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting an apology from one of them.”
Bailey, 47, apologized to Phaedra, but received no response.
She states, “When someone offers an apology in hopes of moving on, it is usually considered to be a positive thing. So why not address the issue, have the conversation, apologize if it is necessary, and move on?” “Who has the energy to stay mad at someone forever?” Cynthia questioned in her blog.
Phaedra Parks. That’s who. At least when it comes to staying angry at Bailey.
Parks’ blog had no mention of Bailey. Instead, it addressed her beef with housewife Kenya Moore: “As a Christian, I believe in forgiveness and redemption,” she claims.
Despite that Phaedra and Cynthia were once BFFs, Phaedra would rather mend her rift with Kenya Moore, the housewife with whom she has had the most contentious relationship:
“While Kenya and I have deep rooted issues, I am finally at a place where I am willing to sit down with her and hear her out. The only way to describe our relationship is wounded. And everybody knows that wounds require air to heal. Hopefully, this conversation will serve as that air.”
