The news keeps getting worse for the imprisoned Teresa Giudice and her family.
OK! Magazine reported today that Teresa and husband Joe will allow their New Jersey mansion to go into foreclosure some time in the near future.
The Giudices have tried to sell their house, but have apparently struggled to find a buyer, and with one of them locked up and the other unemployed, it seems the former reality stars have run out of options.
"Joe is in so much debt and so behind in paying back the IRS," a source tells the tabloid. "Teresa and Joe are planning to let the house go into foreclosure. No one is buying it!"
To make matters worse, the Giudices are reportedly unable to secure financing for a new home, due to their massive debt and criminal past.
"They have a large extended family," says the insider. "Someone will take them in."
Part of the problem is that Teresa has been reluctant to part with her "dream home" for any less than her absurd seven-figure asking price.
"The house is still overpriced," says the source. "It's in the middle of nowhere and there's a major highway in the backyard."
Yes, even though she's in prison, Teresa continues to expect the world to cater to her ridiculous demands.
