It’s sad, but it’s true: reality television often ruins marriages.
It also, however, can ruin other types of relationships. Just ask Kyle Richards and Kim Richards.
The sisters have been ignoring each other ever since Kim’s pit bull attacked Kyle’s daughter in November, with their only contact having taken place during a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion taping.
According to TMZ insiders, Kyle cannot believe Kim has not put the canine down, considering its vicious nature and the fact that it bit the hand of her 18-year old child, Alexia.
Adding to the ongoing feud, meanwhile, is the fact that Kim feels betrayed by her sibling.
She thinks fellow Bravo star Brandi Glanville has been more attentive to her substance struggles issues than Kyle, an accusation that gnaws at Kyle Richards.
In her opinion, she and her husband have been mainly responsible for keeping Kim clean and sober. She believes Kim is deflecting ownership of her addiction by using her as a scapegoat.
It’s an ugly situation all around, and it didn’t help matters when Kyle ran away from this month’s infamous Real Housewives of Beverly Hills brawl, which featured Lisa Rinna hurling a wine glass at Kim.
Man. That was so awesome.
