On the most recent season of True Tori, viewers watched in abject horror as Tori Spelling cried multiple rivers over the failing state of her marriage to Dean McDermott.

We don't know about you, but we seriously doubt it.
What happened to the once-happy couple and bubbly parents of four? Two simple words:
Greed. Infidelity. Desperation. Annoyance. Reality. Television.
And they are far from alone.
Granted, Spelling and McDermott are still technically married, and if they haven't split now, that says something about their commitment to at least trying.
But come on. They're totally doomed, right?
It's rare, after all, for couples who appear on reality TV together to actually stay together, as divorces have befallen everyone from a Teen Mom to a sex tape star to...
Whatever the heck you would call Jon Gosselin these days.
So as you watch Kendra on Top or the hot mess that is True Tori or Marriage Boot Camp or any number of other train wreck options, take comfort in this:
- With such famous pairings crumbling left and right, you can hold your significant other tightly and be glad you aren't doing it with a camera in your face.
- You can always watch 19 Kids and Counting online on TLC. Those Duggars have their faults, but you will certainly never see a couple divorce.
