THIS JUST IN: Dogs are very smart.
Okay, not the dogs who can’t figure out where the squeak in their squeak toy is coming from.
But what about the dog who has figured out how to raid the refrigerator?
And, as documented in the video report below, what about the dog who rides to the park… on the bus… all by herself.
Indeed, the above video introduces us to Eclipse, a Black Labrador mix who grew impatient recently while waiting for her owner to finish his cigarette.
So when the bus arrived that took them nearly everyday to the dog park, Eclipse simply hopped aboard on her own.
And she continues to do so on such a regular basis that all local drivers in Seattle and very many passengers in the area know her well.
“She’s been urbanized totally,” owner Jeff Young told reporters of his canine. “She’s a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog. If we get separated, she gets on the bus without me and I catch up with her later.”
Pretty amazing, huh? And pretty gosh darn awesome to boot.
