About a year ago, Susan Boyle admitted that she has Asperger's Syndrome.
Fast forward to late 2014, however, and the singer has come out with a very different piece of vital personal information: she has a boyfriend! Her first one ever!
During an interview with Great Britain's The Sun, the former Britain’s Got Talent sensation talked about the American doctor she’s been seeing for a little while now after they met in Florida.
"It’s early days but we enjoy each other’s company," Boyle told the newspaper. "We just got talking in the hotel and I thought he seemed friendly enough. He wasn’t a fan, but he knew who I was.
"He invited me out for lunch the next day, we had a nice chat and spoke about lots of things, including our careers."
Boyle adds that this Connecticut resident is the "perfect gentleman” and that he plans to visit the artist - who has sold more than 20 million albums around the globe - at her home in Scotland.
"I hope he comes over," said says. "I don't want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him. All I'll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy."
Boyle, 53, shot to viral fame after singing "I Dreamed a Dream" on the aforementioned British talent show.
It's worth reliving that moment for anyone who's a fan of getting goosebumps:
