Kim Kardashian might not strike you as the type to harbor many insecurities about her body, but in a new interview, the woman who “broke the Internet” with her nude Paper magazine pics reveals that – just like most folks – she experienced an awkward phase in her teens:

“I developed really early,” Kim tells Elle magazine. “Every night I would sit in the bath and cry. I prayed my boobs would stop growing.”

Kim goes on to say that her late father Robert Kardashian, Sr. helped her work through her issues, and “understand [her] self-worth.”

“I’m an Armenian girl,” Kim says. “I have shape, and it turned out like that. That makes me feel good about myself and other women for being supportive.”

Of course, saying Kim Kardashian has shape is like saying Arnold Schwarzenegger occasionally hits the gym, but we see her point.

Kim also opened up about being a victim of the nude photo hacking scandal back in August:

“I feel violated because these are private pictures. I didn’t choose for them to be out there. But I’m also realistic. I’m on the covers of magazines practically naked, so I can’t go crazy about it.”

Though Kim is inarguably one of the world’s most famous women, she wasn’t one of the scandal’s most high-profile victims, in large part because of the Kim Kardashian sex tape, and the various other times the world has seen Kim nude.

Even so, the distinction that she makes between photos taken privately and those meant to be shared with the public is an important one, and Kim no doubt felt every bit as victimized as Jennifer Lawrence or Kate Upton.

If the woman wants to #BreakTheInternet by baring all, that should be her decision, not some pervy hacker’s.
