Very soon after exchanging vows with Alan Ferguson in New Orleans, the singer took to Instagram to post a romantic photo from the occasion, along with a few beautiful words about her big day.
“Yesterday, I had the best day of my life and ended it with an abundance of peace, love over flowing through me like never before,” Solange wrote. “Words only understate the feelings I experienced , but I want to thank you for all of your beautiful sentiments. I’m now one, with the one.”
The bride’s very famous sister, Beyonce, served as maid of honor at the intimate affair, which also included such well-known guests as Jay Z and Blue Ivy.
So much for that elevator shoving incident in May and the rumored family drama that emanated from the scandal, huh?
The reception on Sunday included live performances by Kelela, Questlove and Kindness; while Solange’s 10-year-old son, Julez, was also on hand to help his mother celebrate.
Way to go, Solange and Alan! May you enjoy a lifetime of pure and utter happiness!
