Ever since her split from Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus’ career has been on the rise.
But there are some close to the singer who believe that her health and personal life has become cause for concern – and Liam is among them.
“He was extremely worried when he heard she was in the hospital,” said a source close to Hemsworth. “They didn’t work out as a couple, but he still wants to know she’s okay.”
The insider claims Hemsworth contacted Cyrus in the hospital and they spoke briefly.
Liam reportedly told friends that he “still cares” about his ex-fiancee.
Miley was hospitalized following a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics last week.
The singer is expected to make a full recovery but has been forced to postpone several tour dates and there has been no official word on when she expects to be released.
Liam, of course, isn’t the only one who’s concerned. Fans who are worried about the singer expressed their anxiety on Twitter after a tabloid report indicated that Miley has a heart defect that could prove life-threatening.
Cyrus has since dispelled those rumors and lashed out against the media for scaring her “friends, family and fans.”
