The Voice Season 5 closed out Tuesday night on NBC with an epic results show featuring Celine Dion, One Republic, Paramore and Lady Gaga.
Yet not even they could not outshine the real star of the night: the winner.
Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin of Team Adam Levine and Jacquie Lee of Team Christina each made coaches' chairs swivel during their blind auditions.
All three never failed to out-belt their competitors to win the hearts of their mentors in the ensuing weeks, and the votes of America came early and often.
But there could be only one The Voice. Results? Follow the jump to see ...
Tessanne Chin is the winner of The Voice Season 5! Congratulations!
The 28-year-old singer from Jamaica proved all season she has the talent, culminating Monday night with her rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing."
"You are just capable of anything and it blows me away," Adam Levine said Monday. "I know in my mind and heart you are the winner of this show."
He was right. America agreed, and her win earned her a recording contract, as well as a duet with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, who penned a song for her.
Tessanne Chin burst into tears after host Carson Daly announced her name as the victor, and Levine dropped to his knees as he handed the trophy to her.
In addition to Chin's vocal gifts, she demonstrated her humility and warmth throughout the season as she grew closer to Levine and her fellow contestants.
"It's just been an amazing journey and I could not do this without the little island of Jamaica," Chin said in a segment Tuesday before she won.
"But I most importantly could not do it without the amazing new family and supporters I have here in the U.S. Thank you for accepting me and bringing me this far."
