NeNe Leakes is alive, well and a self-proclaimed very hard worker.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed yesterday with IVs in her veins and wrote as a caption to the image:
“My arms are hurting wit these IV’s #blessedtobealive.”
It’s unclear what ailment or injury landed Leakes under doctor’s care, but NeNe did re-Tweet the following message from a follower who saw the picture:
“It’s probably from exhaustion. She has the most grueling schedule of any celebrity.”
Was Leakes aware this individual was joking? Heck… was this individual joking?!?
Let’s hope so. Because we all know Kim Kardashian is really the hardest worker in Hollywood.
UPDATE: Leakes has not updated fans on her condition via the following statement:
“Late last week I wasn’t feeling well and was feeling a little short of breath. I know my body and I know shen I should be concerned so I went to the hospital to get checked out.
“After some routine tests I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lung. I’m told this happened to me because of the constant traveling around the country that I do for my job.”
