It may not reach level of the Miley Cyrus-Sinead O’Connor feud, but Bethenny Frank is reportedly peeved at Ellen DeGeneres.
Ratings for the former reality star’s talk show are in the tank and Frankel blames DeGeneres – who serves as a producer on the program – because she believed Ellen would help her book some A-listers as guests.
"Frankel was told numerous times by DeGeneres before the show premiered that she would absolutely help her in getting all of the big names in show business,” an insider tells Radar.
But now? After Justin Bieber stopped by during Bethenny’s trial run? The well-known well has run dry.
Bethenny’s booker has "been unable to get Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow or Miley Cyrus," to appear as a guest, the source says, expounding on why:
"The big name celebrities don’t want to go on a talk show hosted by a former Bravo housewife. It’s causing major drama behind the scenes of Frankel’s show, which is struggling in the ratings."
Frankel’s premiere week guests included Nick Cannon, Flo Rida and Kelly Osbourne, while NeNe Leakes did also make an appearance… but she allegedly had no choice.
“If NeNe wanted to go on Ellen [in the future,] she had to agree to appear on Bethenny,” an insider claims of the terms offered to Leakes.
Meanwhile, Queen Latifah kicked off her talk show this month and has already featured interviews with John Travolta and Will Smith.
“DeGeneres never promised to turn over her Rolodex of celebrity friends, but it was always understood that she would give Frankel the foundation and support to get the show off the ground, the rest is on her,” concludes this Radar report.
