Kim Kardashian may be laying low (and stooping to new lows), but she’s already got the money-making machine in high gear, according to a new report.
Not surprisingly, the seldom-seen reality star has big plans for baby daughter North West, and we’re not talking about play dates at the park with Kanye.
Designer friend Lloyd Klein says she’s getting into the kids fashion business with a children’s clothing line, believing North will be “great poster child.”
Klein tells the N.Y. Daily News that Kim Kardashian is coming up with a line for babies featuring “soft colors, pastels, something very dreamy and still trendy.”
With just a touch of desperation sprinkled in. Just kidding. Not really.
It’s unclear if the baby clothing line would be produced with the blessing, or in spite of, Kanye West. He is reportedly very concerned about his progeny’s privacy.
Kim, for what it’s worth, has yet to cash in on her new status as a mom … though it remains to be seen if she’s merely plotting the best way to do so.
Klein lauded the “first family of reality TV” for their “clever moves” in business and marketing so far, as well as for her skills in promoting his items.
Kim “has a very pretty face,” he said. “She’s a very clever lady, and I think she wears the clothes beautifully. She wore one of my dresses not long ago.”
“It got sold all over the world, even in the Middle East.”
