With the Catching Fire photo released yesterday of Katniss in a wedding dress, I mentioned that things would surely be heating up around the film.
Sure enough, a new day… a new Catching Fire still.
I know I shouldn’t be surprised given the general dress of everyone in The Capitol, but what on earth is Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) donning on her head? It’s like a family of butterflies had babies in her hair and they are finally learning how to fly.
Bizarre headdress aside, the biggest and completely expected news out today is that the new full-length Catching Fire trailer will premiere at this weekend’s Comic-Con panel.
The somewhat unexpected side to that, however, is that the trailer will then be released to the public after the panel. While it may seem like a bit of a slap in the face to those who make their way to San Diego and to the Catching Fire panel mainly for the chance to see the preview, it really does work out well for the rest of us who can’t get there.
Either way, the trailer will be here Saturday! And we’ll have it on THG!
