Nearly 10 years after an underdog story for the ages, Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller are prepping for their long-awaited return to the Dodgeball court.
There’s no release date set, but Fox and the production company run by Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld have begun work on a script for a Dodgeball sequel.
The original underdog story featured Vince Vaughn’s aptly-named Average Joes gym squad taking on Ben Stiller’s roid-raging Globo-Gym for the glory.
The Dodgeball sequel will not be a rematch.
Better yet, it will feature the adversaries teaming up to battle an even bigger opponent this time, making for endless sophomoric slapstick comedy potential.
