Brandi Glanville of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills learned a lot going through a divorce from Eddie Cibrian after he cheated with LeAnn Rimes.
Now she's sharing that wisdom with others ... as you clearly know if you read any celebrity gossip at all. Woman is everywhere, and never holds back.
In the March issue of Glamour magazine, the 40-year-old model and Drinking & Tweeting author shares some additional tips on how to cope.
First and foremost? Revenge isn't just an ABC prime time soap.
"I got a knife, and I went out to the garage. I just took it to both of his Harleys," she admits. "I hated those bikes. My dad had almost died in a motorcycle accident."
"I had never wanted Eddie on them, because we had children."
"So I slashed all of the tires, and it felt so good."
All because LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian started boning on the set of Lifetime's Northern Lights. He was also putting it to Scheana Marie, apparently.
Glanville and Cibrian got divorced in September 2010 after nearly 10 years of marriage; they now share custody of sons, Mason, 9, and Jake, 5.
He married Rimes in 2011, which is still tough for Brandi Glanville to contemplate from the standpoint of her kids having LeAnn as a mother figure.
"When I'm home alone on a holiday and LeAnn tweets pictures with my children, it breaks my heart," she says, but tells fans "not to take the bait."
"Marriages break up all the time. People have affairs. Happens every day. It matters how you handle yourself after and if you're actually remorseful.
"I found her to be like, 'Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah, I got your family.' I've never found LeAnn to be remorseful," she adds, and that's why it hurts so bad.
Still, after drinking too much and crying all day, Glanville says she woke up after she got arrested for DUI and decided to stop feeling sorry for herself.
"I said to myself, 'You know what, Brandi? You have a life to live. Why are you obsessing over these people? You know Eddie loves your children. It's time to do you.'"
Good advice. And if you can make some money to help support those kids by trashing Eddie and LeAnn in a memoir, then well, that's a win-win!
