On Monday morning, Stacy Sanchez hit an elderly man on the sidewalk, making his way home from a soup kitchen.
Witnesses told NBC San Diego that Sanchez drove the car up onto the sidewalk, where she struck the man.
The victim, who is believed to be 69, flew threw the window and ended up on the passenger side of the car.
