Safe to say Sarah Palin is not a fan of the White House Correspondents Dinner.

On Saturday night, Sarah posted this early contender for Tweet of the Year:

“That #WHCD was pathetic. The rest of America was out there working our asses off, while these DC assclowns throw themselves a #nerdprom.”

Of course, there was immediate speculation that Sarah Palin's Twitter was hacked, which is certainly feasible knowing Twitter's lax security.

But at the same time, such a remark wouldn't entirely be out of character.

Sarah Palin spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) yesterday and certainly did not disappoint the faithful who came out to see her.

Among the highlights of her 26-minute address:

Palin Big Gulp at CPAC

• Likening President Barack Obama to Bernie Madoff.
• Mocking New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg for his support of a jumbo soda ban (and busting out a Big Gulp in mid-speech for effect).
• Talking about her new gun rack from Todd.

Palin also railed against her own party for trying to "put on a fresh coat of rhetorical paint" instead of “restoring the trust of the American people.”

Sarah Palin is coming out with a new book, just in time for the holidays.

A Happy Holiday IS a Merry Christmas will be published in November.

It's about "reserving Jesus Christ in Christmas" and will "illustrate the reasons why the celebration of Jesus Christ's nativity is the centerpiece of [Palin's] faith."

"This will be a fun, festive, thought-provoking book," Palin promises.

Sarah Palin and Fox News have agreed to part ways.

The former Vice Presidential nominee signed a three-year contract with the network in January 2010, reportedly for $1 million per year, and has offered up her analysis of current events ever since.

Most recently, she blasted President Obama for winning Time Person of the Year and slammed his handling of the Fiscal Cliff situation.

It was the one issue on which Palin and Obama disagreed. Just kidding.

No word if Palin voted for Kim Jong Un in the mag's reader poll.

Sarah Palin has taken a few moments away from writing her fitness book to comment on the recent scandal surrounding four American deaths in Libya.

In light of emails surfacing that make it apparent White House officials were told that a militant group took responsibility for the tragedy in Benghazi just two hours after it happened on September 11, Palin slammed President Obama for his role in what some consider a cover-up.

Via Facebook, of course.

"Why the lies? Why the cover up? Why the dissembling about the cause of the murder of our ambassador on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil? We deserve answers to this. President Obama's shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end."
