Celebrity power couples tend to make the most headlines, but not every star requires someone who shares the limelight when it comes to finding love.

For every Beyonce and Jay Z, or Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, there's a happy union between a celebrity and their somewhat unlikely match.

Here are 17 celebrities who ended up marrying totally normal people:

Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon married Jim Toth, a talent agent previously unknown to the public, after divorcing her first husband, actor Ryan Phillippe.

Some "normal" folks do work in the industry, of course. Reese Witherspoon (pictured) is married to agent Jim Toth, who has many celebrity clients.

Julia Roberts' husband Danny Moder is a movie and TV cameraman, but he could be sitting right next to you today and you would likely have no idea.

Tina Fey's husband Jeff Richmond may be totally unrecognizable to you, but he's a producer and composer who worked on her show among others.

Beyonce famously sang that girls run the world and based on the results of Forbes annual list of the most powerful celebrities, it seems she was on to something.

Thanks in part to her On the Run tour with Jay Z, Queen Bey pulled in an estimated $115 million in the past year, nearly doubling the earnings of her rapper husband.

Beyonce
Mrs. Carter tops the list. She pulled in an impressive $115 million in the past year.

Between rumors of marital troubles and the now-infamous Jay-Solance fight video, 2014 has seen Bey struggling with some problems in her personal life, but she clearly hasn't allowed the drama to affect her career.

Other celebs may earn more than Beyonce (Thanks to his deal with Beats Audio, Dr. Dre raked in an astonishing $620 million in 2013.), but according to Forbes  no one can match Mrs. Carter when it comes to sheer power.

What's in a name? As it turns out, maybe everything.

Since Shakespeare first posited the question in Romeo and Juliet, actors have been using fake names to land professional roles. Not only did it allow them some semblance of privacy before the dawn of Wikipedia, but let's face it, some people just aren't born with great names.

Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor? Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta? Quite a mouthful.

If an actor or musician's entire career is dedicated to being someone else - a character or personality, perhaps - then a good stage name can go a long way to making that career explode.

More celebrities use pseudonyms than you might think. In fact, here are 67 stars who don't use their real names. Which ones did you know before viewing this gallery?

Lorde
Musical sensation Lorde was given the name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor at birth. We'd probably go with Lorde, too.

Look out, Kate Middleton. Taylor Swift has formally met your man.

The 23-year-old artist actually met Prince William yesterday at the Kensington Palace in London, as Swift was in town for the Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala.

That's not all. The two later collaborated musically. We kid not!

Taylor Swift and Prince William

The highlight of the event? Jon Bon Jovi taking to the stage with his guitar, flanked by Swift and William, for an acoustic version of "Livin on a Prayer."

And Taylor took the stage and joined in! And then so did Prince William! Talk about an unexpected musical threesome - one as legendary as it was surprising.

Watch the performance you'll likely never, ever see again:

It's every woman's dream to be walked down the wedding aisle by her father.

But if that's not possible, an iconic rock singer will do just fine!

An Australian woman named Branda Delic got married in Las Vegas on Saturday, the same day Jon Bon Jovi and his veteran band were playing a concert in that city.

In the months leading up to the event, Delic had placed a newspaper ad and started a Facebook campaign in order to get Bon Jovi's attention… and it worked!

He surprised the bride in a limo and strolled arm-in-arm with Branda into the Graceland Wedding Chapel for an unofficial ceremony (the real one began a short while later) that was partially captured on camera:

"Congratulations @branksd! May you & Gonzalo have a lifetime of happiness, love & memories together – ALWAYS!” Bon Jovi Tweeted later that day, while Delic added that her life had been “changed forever" thanks to the artist.

And thanks to her new husband, we hope.

Richie Sambora, a founding member of Bon Jovi, has been fired from the group's tour and been replaced on lead guitar, according to a new report.

Sambora was canned and replaced on lead guitar by Philip "Phil X" Xenidis, and the alleged reason for the move is a simple, time-honored one:

Cash.

Sambora, who's been in the band for 30 years, gets $2 million a month plus 20 percent of profits. Xenidis makes $10,000 a month, with no profit share.

That's a lot of extra cash to spread among the other four members, but did he really get the boot from the legendary rock band for that reason alone?

Fresh off hearing boos from the Billboard Music Awards crowd, Justin Bieber is now hearing it from a rock legend.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard, Jon Bon Jovi went off a bit on Bieber for his unprofessional behavior in March when he showed up hours late for a concert at O2 Arena.

"Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new," Bon Jovi told the newspaper during a tour stop in Vienna. "They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket."

Is there tension among the two key members of Bon Jovi?

The band left a statement on its official website today that said its founding guitarist will not be joining his colleagues on tour this spring. It reads:

"Due to personal issues, Richie Sambora will not be performing on this upcoming leg. All shows will go on as scheduled."

No other details have been made available, but an insider compares Sambora's feud with Jon Bon Jovi to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, telling TMZ there is contention over both money and how Jon treats Richie.
