In an interview that airs tonight on Fox News - more excerpts from which we'll run tomorrow - George Zimmerman issues an emotional apology to the parents of Trayvon Martin.

Asked if he has a message for the family of the late 17-year old - who Zimmerman admits to shooting - the man on trial for his murder responds:

"I would tell them that, again, I’m sorry... I am sorry that [Trayvon's parents] buried their child ... I can’t imagine what it must feel like and I pray for them daily."

This interview represents the first public statements Zimmerman has made on the case. He's charged with second degree murder and faces life in prison if convicted.

In April, during a bond hearing, Zimmerman made a similar apology to Trayvon's mother and father.

George Zimmerman has been accused of a new heinous crime.

In just-released audio tapes related to the Trayvon Martin shooting, a family friend - who simply goes by the moniker "Witness9" - tells authorities that Zimmerman sexually molested her many times between the ages of 6 and 16.

"He would reach under the blankets and try to do things," the woman says, adding that the incidents mostly took place at Zimmerman's parents' house. "I would try to push him off, but he was bigger, stronger and older."

The unidentified female was contacted by prosecutors about a month after the Martin shooting, with these tapes recorded on March 20. She told investigators she finally came forward with the allegations because it marked the first time in her life she was "not afraid" of Zimmerman.

The woman said she has no knowledge of the shooting in question, but verified that Zimmerman made disparaging remarks about African-Americans when the two were young.

A Florida judge delayed his decision today on whether to let George Zimmerman out of jail on bond a second time. Meanwhile, both prosecutors and the man accused of murdering Trayvon Martin and laid out elements of their case at the bond hearing.

Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's $150,000 bond earlier this month, believing the defendant and wife Shellie Zimmerman intentionally tried to mislead the court about their financial situation in April so he would be granted bond.

Zimmerman denies lying and wants the $150,000 reinstated.

The pair did not disclose more than $100,000 raised through a legal defense fund website; Zimmerman's wife was also charged with perjury.

In a two-hour-plus hearing on Friday, Zimmerman asked for his re-release, which led to the defense and prosecution conducting a mini-trial of sorts.

The state argued that Zimmerman is a criminal who should not be released, while the defense put forward evidence that he acted in self defense.

The defense played the Trayvon Martin 911 call from February 26, the night he was killed. In April, Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder.

George Zimmerman failed to identify himself twice and missed opportunities to defuse a confrontation with Trayvon Martin, a detective says in a newly released report.

Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, is charged with second-degree murder in the February 26 shooting death of Martin, 17, in Sanford, Florida.

The report, which Florida prosecutors released Tuesday, includes a video of Zimmerman showing injuries he said he suffered in the altercation with Martin.

Zimmerman, 28, told police he shot the teen in self-defense, but many feel he racially profiled Martin and ignored a 911 dispatcher's advice not to follow him.

Among the documents released was a report from a police officer who conducted computerized voice stress analysis tests on Zimmerman following the incident.

"Mr. Zimmerman was subjected to two exams, and was found to be classified as No Deception Indicated," the report said.

Also released was an unredacted capias request, a request that someone be taken into custody, prepared by the lead police investigator in the case.

Christopher Serino wrote in the report:

"Investigative findings show that (Zimmerman) had at least two opportunities to speak with (Martin) in order to defuse the circumstances surrounding their encounter."

"On at least two occasions (Zimmerman) failed to identify himself as a concerned resident or a neighborhood watch volunteer."

Audio recordings from phone calls George Zimmerman made in jail in April were released on Monday by prosecutors in the Trayvon Martin case.

The six conversations are part of the state's evidence alleging that he and his wife, Shellie Zimmerman, misled the court during his April bond hearing.

The former neighborhood watch volunteer is charged with killing 17-year-old Martin in February. Zimmerman said he shot Trayvon in self defense.

A judge released him on $150,000 bond after the couple testified they had little money. But the calls recorded after his arrest tell a different story.

Zimmerman is heard coaching his wife and sister on moving tens of thousands of dollars donated to his legal defense fund to another account.

During one jailhouse conversation, George Zimmerman tells his wife how much it means to him that strangers were donating to his PayPal account.

"Ah man, that feels good," he said. Prosecutors say the phone calls are proof the Zimmermans had access to nearly $130,000 when he was freed.

After his wife was able to transfer funds, Zimmerman told her to pay off nearly all their bills and to buy bulletproof vests for her, him and his attorney.

George Zimmerman’s wife, Shellie, was arrested Tuesday and charged with perjury for allegedly lying at his bond hearing about their financial situation.

Shellie Zimmerman quickly posted $1,000 bond and was released.

At Zimmerman’s April 20 bond hearing, after which he was released on $150,000 bail, Shellie, 25, was asked whether the couple had any money.

“Uhmm, not, not that I’m aware of,” she responded. Well ...

Prosecutors say bank records show Shellie stashed cash in a safe deposit box and transferred nearly $75,000 from her husband’s bank account into hers.

When her husband was granted bond and released from jail after being charged with second-degree murder in Trayvon Martin case, the money was returned to George Zimmerman’s account, according to an affidavit.

Shellie Zimmerman has thus been charged with perjury during an official proceeding, a third-degree felony with a maximum sentence of five years.

George Zimmerman was not charged with perjury because he was never asked about money while under oath; his bail has been revoked, however.

Lawyers for George Zimmerman, the killer of Trayvon Martin, will ask a judge to release him from jail again after Zimmerman's bail was revoked last week.

The announcement comes as Zimmerman, 28, returns to a cell in the Seminole County jail in central Florida, after a circuit court judge revoked his bond.

Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. yanked his $150,000 bond, posted in April, after prosecutors said both he and his wife had lied about their financial status.

Free on bail or not, he faces trial on second-degree murder charges.

They had failed to tell the court about at least $135,000 that anonymous donors had contributed to help bankroll Zimmerman's legal defense in the case.

"Mr. Zimmerman knew a sum had been raised ... we feel the failure to disclose these funds was caused by fear, mistrust and confusion," his lawyers said.

"The gravity of this mistake has been directly illustrated, and [Zimmerman] understands this has undermined his credibility, which he will have to work to repair."

They also withheld one of two valid passports issued in George Zimmerman's name, prosecutors said at a hearing. The judge pulled his bail as a result.

The murder case has grabbed widespread media attention and sparked debate about U.S. race relations, profiling, media, guns and self-defense laws.

Defense lawyers said in a statement posted on their website on Monday that Zimmerman, who went into hiding because of death threats after his previous release on bond, was unfairly "thrust into the national spotlight as a racist murderer."

The motion to re-post bail is expected to be filed Tuesday.

George Zimmerman's bail has been revoked after a judge said he misled the court about his finances. Trayvon Martin's killer must turn himself in by Sunday.

During Zimmerman's bail hearing in April, after which he was freed on $150,000 bond, his family testified they had limited funds, prosecutors said on Friday.

Zimmerman's wife "said she had no money, but in fact she did," said prosecutor Bernardo de la Rionda of the issue that led to Zimmerman's bail revocation.

"It was misleading ... I don't know what other words to use. It was a blatant lie."

He pointed to $135,000 in funds raised from the public that was not disclosed during the hearing. Defense lawyer Mark O'Mara said it was a misunderstanding.

O'Mara said Zimmerman did not lie, but was simply unclear about how he could use the money, and that his office has been keeping close tabs on the funds.

"We have kept an exact ledger of every penny that he spent," said O'Mara.

Prosecutors also Zimmerman did not disclose that was in possession of a second passport; he had replaced a passport he lost only to find the original later.

Zimmerman was ordered to surrender himself in 48 hours. He pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the February 26 death of the unarmed teen.

Witnesses in the Trayvon Martin case have changed their stories "in ways that may damage" George Zimmerman, according to new reports.

The four witnesses, all neighbors, were interviewed multiple times by police and special prosecutors about what they saw on February 26.

That was the night in which Zimmerman fatally shot Martin in Sanford, Fla.

Four days after the shooting, one woman told police she "saw two guys running" and then "a fistfight ... just fists, I don't know who was hitting who."

But on March 20, she told investigators she saw just one person.

"I couldn't tell you if it was a man, a woman, a kid, black or white," the woman, "Witness 2," said. "I couldn't tell you because it was dark and because I didn't have my contacts on or glasses. I just know that I saw a person out there."

Another witness, who was initially interviewed on March 20, said she saw two people on the ground immediately after the shooting.

She was not sure who was on top then, the Orlando Sentinel says. Six days later, however, she was sure: It was Zimmerman on top.

The woman, "Witness 12," said:

"I know after seeing the TV of what's happening, comparing their sizes, I think Zimmerman was definitely on top because of his size."

Surveillance video of some of Florida teen Trayvon Martin's final moments before being fatally shot by George Zimmerman have just surfaced online.

In his infamous hoodie, Martin can be seen in a video released by 7-Eleven, where he purchased Skittles and an iced tea before walking home Feb. 26.

He was shot by Zimmerman after an altercation on his way back to the home of his father's fiancé, where he was staying, triggering a media firestorm.

The video below doesn't change anything about the controversial case, as the shooting - which Zimmerman claims was self-defense - is obviously not shown.

Zimmerman has been charged with second-degree murder but remains free on bail. Martin's family yesterday criticized a series of leaks in the case.

Without video of the altercation itself, it remains to be seen who instigated what, and if the charge against the assailant will stand up in court.
