Elton John has fired up the quasi-dispute between himself and Madonna once again, thanks to his latest "advice" about her Super Bowl performance.

Just when we thought his husband, David Furnish, had washed his hands of the feud (albeit with a non-apology), Elton spoke about Madonna today.

Speaking to Good Morning America from the set of his own Super Bowl Pepsi commercial, John weighed in on the halftime show Madge is headlining.

"I've never seen a decent one," he said. "Never ever."

This started when Furnish tore into Madonna, calling her a narcissistic embarrassment after she won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song (over Elton).

So does Elton have any advice for Madonna Sunday, to add to those preemptively harsh words? Does he ever. "Make sure you lip-sync good," he said.

Ouch! John softened that part a bit, though:

"I don't think you can (play live). In all fairness to everyone who's done it before, I think you may be able to sing live, but it's really hard to play live."

He even adds of some of the last few performers: "To be honest with you, I saw the Stones and I saw Prince and I thought they were pretty good."

We'll see if he says the same of Madonna come Monday.

Elton John's husband David Furnish is PISSED that "Masterpiece" singer Madonna was among 2012's Golden Globe Award winners with the Best Original Song.

Furnish called Madonna's acceptance speech "embarrassing in its narcissism."

Just moments after she won the statue, Furnish went to his Facebook page and WENT OFF on the Material Girl, writing, "Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!"

Elton John, who was nominated for a song from Gnomeo & Juliet, did not look happy when Madonna's name was announced, but he has not commented.

Furnish, however, did not hold back in letting Madonna, who won for a song from W.E., have it, referencing her recent quasi-feud with another singer.

"Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows these awards have nothing to do with merit," he said. "Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is."

In related news, Madonna's cleavage was off the hook last night.

His songs were covered on American Idol this week. He's hosting Saturday Night Live tomorrow. And now Elton John is jumping into the fray of another pop culture debate.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon last night, the veteran artist was asked about Kings of Leon and Dave Grohl, musicians that have lashed out at Glee creator Ryan Murphy for asking if his show could cover their singles.

"When someone wants to do your song, it’s a compliment," John said, getting pointed in his criticism of Kings of Leon: "Lighten up, you assholes... I mean, this is a compliment. Also, it sends a positive message out. What the hell is wrong with you guys?”

Elton John wants Billy Joel to make like Charlie Sheen. Sort of.

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, John talks at length about his fellow music icon, who has battled alcohol dependency for years.

"Billy's a conundrum," Elton says. "We've had so many cancelled tours because of illnesses and various other things, alcoholism."

But hasn't Joel sought help for substance abuse issues in the past? Yes, John says, but not the right kind of help:

"He's going to hate me for this, but every time he goes to rehab they've been light. When I went to rehab, I had to clean the floors. He goes to rehab where they have TVs. I love you, Billy, and this is tough love. You have your demons and you're not going to get rid of them at rehab light. You've got to be serious. People adore you, they love you and respect you. You should be able to do something better than what you're doing now."

Joel doesn't seem too fazed by Elton's remarks. He responds:

That's a mouthful, to be sure, but it's a fitting title for the son of Sir Elton John and David Furnish, who welcomed baby Zachary on Christmas Day.

Just 10 days after Zachary's birth, the couple shared their remarkable journey and spoke candidly about the birth of their first child with Us Weekly.

"I've never felt anything like it in my life," the music legend says of holding his son that day. "You're so awestruck. What can you say? You take it in."

"The feeling, the joy, the warmth of his body, his breathing," the singer continued. "I will never forget that experience ever."

Adds his longtime partner, film producer Furnish: "He's a content little guy... He just loves to be nurtured, cuddled, and sung to."

Elton John and David Furnish are the excited new parents of a baby boy.

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John was born on Christmas Day to a surrogate in California. He weighted weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.

"We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment," John and Furnish said in a statement. "Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents."

John and Furnish married in 2005 after 12 years as a couple. This is the first child for each.

Elton John was approached about being a judge on American Idol, but turned down the offer for one very good reason: he hates the show!

"I'm not a fan of talent shows... I couldn't do it because I won't slag anyone off," the singer told UK's The Daily Mail. "There have been some good acts, but the only way to sustain a career is to pay your dues in small, s**t clubs."

Never one to shy away from an opinion, John added "contemporary pop isn't very inspiring" and said it's important for artists to write their own material.

Among singers he likes?

"Lily Allen is incredibly talented and can do anything she wants – act, sing, write. I'm also a huge fan of Lady Gaga. And I adore Amy Winehouse."

Rush Limbaugh's wedding in June garnered a lot of attention.

First off, his new wife, Kathryn Rogers, is beautiful and they seem really happy together. We wish the radio host and his bride nothing but the best in life.

Much of the buzz surrounding the nuptials in Palm Beach, Fla., stemmed from the fact that Elton John personally performed at the occasion. He really did.

The singer's partner, David Furnish, confirmed that Elton John, a gay liberal, sang at the conservative activist's ceremony, making for a truly odd scene.

Now there are pictures proving that the scene existed: Rush posted them himself on Facebook! Famous media and political figures ... they're just like us.

Rush Limbaugh's wife, Kathryn Rogers, was the center of attention - but when Elton John serves as your wedding singer, he's guaranteed to get his share as well.

Of course, the fact that Rush reportedly paid $1 million for Elton's performance - all of the proceeds going to charity - might help smooth over any differences.

Gushing comments abound on Limbaugh's Facebook page, such as:

Plenty of people were surprised that Elton John recently received an invite to sing at Rush Limbaugh's wedding. Elton John himself was definitely on that list.

"To put it in Elton's exact words, when he got the invitation, he was 'a little surprised,'" his partner David Furnish told People on Sunday at the Tony Awards.

But, John also the genuine, sincere invite as a change "to go where people wouldn't expect me to go" and said "'Life is about building bridges, not walls.'"

He did just that, performing as Rush married Kathryn Rogers.

"And maybe if I can make a great impression," Furnish quoted his longtime partner as saying, "some people might even change their perspectives on life."

Elton John and Rush Limbaugh make an unlikely couple of friends, but genuine ones just the same. The singer donated his $1 million fee for the event to charity.

John told him it was a beautiful event and Limbaugh and his bride "were incredibly gracious and very welcoming and very sweet and very appreciative."

"Elton, during the night made cracks: 'I suppose you all wonder why I'm here tonight?'" says Furnish. "But ultimately, it's like an olive branch, I guess."

By all accounts, John and the couple got along well. "I wasn't there, but from everything Elton told me, Rush and his bride were charming and welcoming."

"They said they want to come and have dinner with us in England, if they pass through in their travels. We have to bring the world together, not apart."

Conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh is a married man again, and outspoken gay rights advocate Elton John helped ring in his wedding to Kathryn Rogers!

Elton serenaded the 400 guests into the wee hours Saturday night to celebrate the marriage of Limbaugh and Rogers at the Breakers hotel in Palm Beach, Fla.

The couple met six years ago, while Kathryn Rogers, 33, was running a charity golf tournament and Rush Limbaugh, 59, was going through his third divorce.

The Palm Beach Post reports that guests included Karl Rove, Fred Thompson, George Brett, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, James Carville and Clarence Thomas.

Elton John, however, was perhaps the most notable, given his ideological differences with Rush. Then again, his $1 million fee for the evening goes a long way.

ODD COUPLE: Can't say we saw this ne coming.

A million bucks is pretty steep, but did Rush and Kathryn get a discount? Reuters says that of all wedding singers, John is among the most expensive worldwide.

The music icon charges up to "$2 million for private performances, with all earnings from private concerts going to his charity, the Elton John AIDS Foundation.”

Yes, his AIDS foundation. Remember last October 2009, when Limbaugh compared the disease to swine flu in the way both were being "hyped"? That crazy Rush.

Or in 2007, when Limbaugh said other, equally incorrect, equally reprehensible things about AIDS? Elton John could have charged the full $2 million, you'd think.

Anyway, congratulations to Rush and Kathryn Rogers! Hopefully she sticks around the radio magnate longer than his previous three wives, and he's feeling better.
