A concert worker says he is physically disabled and was permanently injured thanks to Akon diving off the stage during a show and landing on him.

Matthew Graham is suing Akon, claiming he was working his show at BayFest music festival in Alabama back in 2009 when the singer injured him terribly.

At the concert (see above video), Akon "negligently or wantonly leapt into the overcrowded mass of concert goers" and struck Graham, he claims.

There's been much controversy over the posthumous release of his new material, but it's hard to imagine Michael Jackson fans won't like this effort.

The new music video for "Hold My Hand," MJ's duet with Akon, has been released. It features some classic MJ clips, MJ impersonations and MJ fans.

In short, it's a fitting tribute to the late King of Pop. Take a look at the final music video of the first single from the album Michael, which drops Tuesday ...

What do you think of the MJ-Akon duet?

As Michael Jackson fans surely know by now, the late King of Pop worked with Akon, recording a track called "Hold My Hand" before he passed away, and the song will appear on the forthcoming posthumous album Michael.

Follow this link to hear the full song. Now, here's a 30-second teaser for the music video, blending vintage MJ footage with recently-filmed material ...

What do you think of the "Hold My Hand" collaboration?

Will.i.am is not a fan of the posthumous Michael Jackson album, Michael.

The forthcoming project is "disrespectful" to the King of Pop, who the the Black Eyed Peas frontman says would be rolling in his grave at its release.

His reasoning? MJ was such a perfectionist, he would never want fans to hear his songs without his approval. In will.i.am's mind, this is a low blow.

Akon sees Michael Jackson's legacy differently than will.i.am.

"Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are," he said. "To say that what (MJ) contributed during his life wasn't enough. He just wasn't any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it's disrespectful."

"Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they're finished."

Will.i.am, who recorded with Michael just before he died, says those tapes will never see the light of day, unlike "Hold My Hand," MJ's collaboration with Akon.

Their duet is the first single from Michael, and Akon disagrees with will.i.am, saying the upcoming record is actually keeping the King Of Pop's "legacy alive."

"I don't see anything disrespectful about it," he says. "These albums would have come out if he was alive or dead." What do you think? Is it good or bad?

A duet featuring Michael Jackson and Akon was released this morning as the first official single from the late icon's posthumous upcoming album Michael.

A handwritten note by MJ was found after his death indicating his desire that "Hold My Hand" be the first single on his next album, Epic Records said.

There's no doubt about its authenticity, either. Unlike the track that leaked earlier this month, "Breaking News," Jackson's family embraces this song.

Taj Jackson, one of the star's many nephews, posted an online message Sunday saying it was the last song his uncle ever played for him in person.

"He was so proud of it," Taj said. "I'll never forget the smile he had on his face as the song played through the speakers at the Palms Hotel in Vegas."

The song may be familiar to MJ fans from the unfinished version that leaked in 2008, but Akon returned to the studio to remaster the final version.

"The world was not ready to hear 'Hold My Hand' when it leaked," Akon said of the song they originally recorded in 2007. "We were devastated."

The song is now in "its final state," Akon said. "It's a beautiful, anthemic song." Listen to "Hold My Hand" after the jump and tell us what you think ...

Akon has postponed an April concert in Sri Lanka after the nation's government said it planned to deny his visa this week. The problem? A certain "Sexy Chick."

Specifically, a sexy chick who's feverishly shakin' dat booty all up in a Buddha statue's grill in the song of that name by David Guetta featuring Akon. Obviously.

Akon and Michael Jackson

More than 200 protestors in the city of Colombo threw rocks at the offices of Capital Maharaja, Akon's concert promoters, angrily reacting to the video Monday.

The mob - some carrying signs that read "Stop Akon Now!!" - broke windows and hit cars parked near the building. Four employees were reportedly injured.

"Sexy Chick," the hit song Akon recorded for Dave Guetta's One Love album, shows babes dancing all suggestively in front of this Buddha statue by a pool:

Images like the screen cap above have "triggered a lot of disappointment among Buddhists all over the world," a Sri Lankan government spokesman said.

Online debate heated up as well. The "We Hate Akon" page on Facebook has more than 12,000 members. That's both hilarious and sad at the same time.

"I was not aware that the statue was even on the set of the video until now," Akon said. "I would never desecrate anyone's religion or religious beliefs."

More than 60 percent of Sri Lanka's population is Buddhist, and "I myself am a spiritual man, so I can understand why they are offended," Akon added.

"But violence is never the answer and I am disheartened."

Akon gets spiritual in his "Sexy Chick" video.

In case you're unclear what song we're talking about, and feel like getting it stuck in your head for 72 hours (you're welcome!), it's the one with this verse:

She's nothing like a girl you've ever seen before / Nothing you can compare to your neighborhood hoe / I'm tryna find the words to describe this girl ...
Without being disrespectful!

The way that booty movin I can't take no more / Have to stop what i'm doin so I can pull up close / I'm tryna find the words to describe this girl ...
Without being disrespectful!

Anyway, whose side are you on!?
