American Idol is about to say goodbye.

Fox has announced that Season 15 will be the final season, meaning that there will be a farewell run next winter and spring. But 2016 will be the swan song.

Before Ryan Seacrest welcomes us for the last time, however, and before Jennifer Lopez causes our jaws to drop all the way to the floor before signing off, let's run it back, shall we?
