Violet Kowal, the woman who claims she was Mel Gibson's piece on the side while he was dating Oksana Grigorieva, has nothing but positive things to say.

That's good at least.

Mel's alleged mistress, to whom he was allegedly putting it while still together with Oksana, swears Mel is not only a nice guy, but a very tolerant one.

"Violent, racist, anti-Semitic? Are you serious? When I was around Mel, he never once made any racist or derogatory comments about anyone," she says.

"The people who are close to him knows better than anyone ... he was very kind to me, my friends and family whom are all from different walks of life."

Regarding the Mel Gibson tapes, Violet is adamant that "[Mel] will recover from this incident and prove that this does not reflect on who he really is."

Violet Kowal, Mel Gibson's alleged Polish porn star mistress, says she's got some interesting audio tapes of her own - incriminating stuff that could influence the disturbed actor's ongoing legal battle with Oksana Grigorieva.

Oksana's collection of Mel Gibson rants became a national talking point and painted a frightening picture of the star. Legally, however, Mel has not been charged with any crime, while Oksana herself is under investigation for extortion.

Now, Violet Kowal, who claims Gibson nailed her while Oksana was pregnant, claims to have a new tape of her own - not a rant, but some potentially strong evidence.

Kowal alleges that a bodyguard representing Oksana made "a series of financial seducements" to provide evidence against the actor and father of Lucia.

The man then made threats against Violet Kowal and her bodyguard, Nikko.

It's the latest twist in the Mel-Oksana scandal, and followed a secret meeting that took place last month between Kowal and Gibson's defense attorney, Blair Berk.

It looks like Oksana Grigorieva may not have been the only Mel Gibson mistress to receive incriminating text messages from the insane actor in January.

Violet Kowal, who claims to have been Gibson's mistress while he was nailing Oksana (he is still technically married to wife Robyn), says he texted her too.

The significance of said text messages?

Kowal, an alleged Polish porn star, says she was told by Mel's bodyguard to keep her mouth shut about the January 6 altercation between Oksana and Mel.

This is according to sources who have been in touch with Violet Kowal, who claims she was communicating with Gibson about that very fight with Oksana.

In the days following - January 7-9 - Kowal claims she was contacted by one of Mel's bodyguards, telling her she wasn't allowed to discuss the incident.

Moreover, he suggested she "disappear" for a price.

Kowal, who recently lawyered up (she is repped by Gloria Allred, of course) has phone records and text messages from Mel to prove all of this happened.

Also, Kowal claims to have an email she received recently from the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services, the Sensitive Case Unit.

That office informed her they wanted to speak with her, presumably in regard to Mel and Oksana's custody fight over eight-month-old daughter Lucia.

Kowal has not met with DCFS ... yet.

Remember Violet Kowal? Mel Gibson's OTHER alleged mistress? No? Well, she wants to make sure she's not left out of the actor's recent saga - financially.

Kowal, a 39-year-old "fitness model" (some have referred to her as a porn actress) from Poland, has just retained the services of attorney Gloria Allred.

Back in May, we reported that Violet Kowal claimed she had an affair with Mel Gibson while Oksana Grigorieva was pregnant with their daughter Lucia.

If he were putting it to Violet while living with Oksana (while married to Robyn), that would add a new twist - if it's even true or he violated any laws.

It's unclear why Kowal needs legal representation at this point, but hey, it worked out for Rachel Uchitel fairly well. There's eight digits of motivation.

In case you haven't read any celebrity gossip for the past month or so, Mel and Oksana are engaged in a brutal legal and custody battle over Lucia.

The Mel Gibson tapes - in which he rants and berates her in the most foul way imaginable - and accusations of violence have dominated headlines.

Mel has personally been MIA lately and that's because he's on a family fishing trip with two of his sons, much to Oksana Grigorieva's consternation.

Oksana's laywers tried to schedule Gibson's deposition for the ongoing child custody battle in the middle of his trip. The court date has been delayed.

Her people think the delay is evidence that Mel is not committed to Lucia. TMZ reports Mel will be "front and center for his deposition in short order."

That's what the National Enquirer, reigning King of Celebrity Cheating Scandals, alleges in its latest issue. This supposedly happened while Oksana was preggers.

Oh, and Violet Kowal is apparently a "Polish porn queen."

Gibson's camp is adamantly denying the report, which says Oscar winner's sudden split from Oksana was the result of a torrid affair with the Polish porn purveyor.

According to the tabloid, the 54-year-old actor-director and the 39-year-old singer called it quits last month after Oskana learned Mel cheated on her Violet Kowal.

Kowal's manager tells E! News that she's sticking to her story, though she insists that Kowal, now based in Los Angeles, is not a porn star but a "business woman."

Did Mel cheat on his mistress-turned-girlfriend with another mistress?

Whatever the semantics, Gibson's attorney has labeled Kowal's tale "an absurd fabrication." We'd be inclined to believe Mel, although you never know anymore.

Do the words Rielle Hunter ring a bell? Sure, for every Rielle, there's a Vera Baker, but do you put it past Mel Gibson to cheat on a pregnant Oksana Grigorieva?

This was a man who knocked up Oksana while married to his wife of 30 years, Robyn, with whom he has seven children. Does he get the benefit of the doubt?
