Kanye West is in the clear after the L.A. District Attorney declined to prosecute or pursue charges against the rapper following an alleged assault incident.
This outcome became increasingly likely after Kanye's most recent alleged assault victim failed to appear at a follow-up interview with the authorities.
If investigators don't have a cooperative accuser, the case is difficult to prosecute for obvious reasons, and that's apparently what transpired here.
West reportedly settled with the accuser out of court as well.
Cops responded to a 911 call last month after the volatile rapper confronted a teenager who was reportedly screaming racial slurs at Kim Kardashian.
Kim and Kanye were meeting for an appointment when she saw a man yelling racial slurs at the paparazzi and told him he shouldn't use racial slurs.
That's when he turned on the reality star and began verbally assaulting her, and Kanye allegedly returned the favor and then some ... vintage 'Ye.
"The two ended up in a stairwell where the man was in her face and continued to verbally assault her," an insider added. "She was genuinely scared."
Kanye, who was already present at the building, overheard the teen yelling at his fiance, so he "came running down and he confronted the guy."
As Kanye confrontations go, it sounds like this incident was one of the more understandable ... at least by the loose cannon rapper's standards.
