Toggle through a bunch of Kate Upton photos and you may quickly conclude: this model is totally perfect.
But that's not true, Upton insists.
She jokes to V magazine that she actually has "Catalog Tourette's."
"I can switch a pose like it's no one's business. As soon as I hear a camera click, I'm on. I tell you, it's a serious nervous condition," says Upton, who covers the latest issue of this publication both clothed and in a bikini.
On a more serious note, the 21-year old beauty - who has twice covered the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition and been profiled in Vogue and Vanity Fair - says she doesn't look at the careers of anyone else in the business.
"I don't compare myself with other models," Upton explains. For me, modeling is really about competing with yourself, becoming the best you can be."
She also knows her limitations.
"The truth is that I can't do facial expressions like [Coco Rocha] and others do. If I pull a goofy face, it doesn't look cute; I look like a dying animal. But I guess someone likes what I am doing."
Kate, A LOT of people like what you are doing.
In addition to modeling, Upton has made a couple TV cameos and has a huge role in The Other Woman alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.
The move from fashion to the movie was more organic than it might seem, she concludes.
"My life isn't as manufactured as people think. I have dreams and I express them. But it's a business and you have to be a good observer if you want to do your job properly."
