Ray Allen has still got game.
He proved that in Game 6 of June's NBA Finals by nailing a game-tying three-pointer and saving the Miami Heat season, and he's continuing to swish long-distance shots at a nearly 40 percent clip this season.
Allen also had game in 1998 when he starred opposite Denzel Washington in Spike Lee's He Got Game, a role that will be remembered in four upcoming contests, during which Allen will actually wear the following jersey:
Lee debuted the special uniform on Instagram this week, as it's part of a marketing plan by the NBA for various players to occasionally put nicknames on the backs of their shirts.
It's sort of cool and funny in Allen's case.. but who really cares if Paul Pierce is dubbed "The Truth" for a few games?
Along with the photo, Lee also wrote on Instagram:
