Meghan McCain is bringing her outspoken views to Pivot.
Yes, that's a television network. Or at least it's about to be.
The daughter of John McCain will anchor "Raising McCain" on the new network, which debuts on August 1, telling reporters on Friday that the series lets her "be crazy, be myself and talk about issues."
And those issues often upset Republicans.
McCain believes we should legalize marijuana.
She also says she loves sex, loves men and hates Bristol Palin.
"I came to Pivot because I think there has to be some sort of middle ground between the Kardashians and C-SPAN," McCain says. "I want to give people information but not talk down to them. I am so excited. This is the best thing I've ever done."
And while Meghan admits there has been "conflict" with her famous father over some of her past quotes, "he has really been a great champion of this show and believing that young people want more substance...
"I believe in more than this country is being given in news and entertainment."
