If I had to pick one person in the world to help me overcome a sex addiction, Gwyneth Paltrow would probably pretty low on the list of responsible choices.
But, as they say, you don’t pick who you use as a means to overcome sex addiction in favor of true love.

The film follows three different people in a 12-step program for sex addiction, mainly Ruffalo’s character Adam who battles his addiction while beginning a new relationship with Paltrow’s character Phoebe.
Josh Gad, Tim Robbins, Joely Richardson, Patrick Fugit, Carol Kane, Pink, and Michaela Watkins also star.
Thanks for Sharing will hit theaters September 20.
