Ireland Baldwin to Haters: Why Hate?!?

by at . Comments

The modeling career of Ireland Baldwin is barely underway.

But the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger - who signed last month with IMG - has already faced the wrath of Internet users after just a couple shoots.

And she has a message for these haters: Why all the hate?!?

“What I don’t fully understand is: What is the good in commenting on a photo of a 17-year-old girl and calling her fat, ugly, etc.?” Baldwin asks in a new Tumblr post “Is that helping you in some way? … Personally, I try to see the beauty in everyone. … I even see the beauty in the people who send me hateful replies!

Ireland also tries to distance herself from her gorgeous mother and temper-filled father.

“I am not my parents," she writes. "My mom is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Let’s not forget, I also have a Dad too, so genetically speaking, I wasn’t built to look like my Mom’s identical twin!

"I get hateful replies and threats regarding mistakes of my Dad’s past. This isn’t fair. I had nothing to do with anything that happened back then, so I don’t fully understand why I am being targeted. More importantly, my Dad has moved on.”

Just a few weeks ago, Baldwin posed in a bikini atop a boat in New York.

She's looked pretty darn good... and she makes some pretty darn good points in this rant as well, don't you think?

She is beautiful, I am sure the haters are jealous females who wish they were as beautiful as she is because I sure wish I was as beautiful as she is right now. I am the same age she is and she is a beauty.

The more your picked on in Hollywood the better for yourself for all publicity of being able to rebut, like as if an argument is going on. Give me a 10 year old making comment about being fat for all we know. The word "haters" is weak because those who use it are like witchhunters, never really describing who they don't like. Instead call them rude people or what ever they really are and you will win the argument in one sentence.
