Louisiana High School Students Suspended for Trash Talking Jesus Sign

A pair of high school students in Louisiana were suspended this week for holding up a sign that broke some bad news to rival Baptist high school students:

Jesus Christ does not love them.

The incident took place during a playoff basketball game between Baton Rouge Patterson High and Baton Rouge Parkview Baptist School, as two girls held aloft a poster that read:

"Jesus loves you … unless you attend Parkview Baptist.”

To the chagrin of some, the students pictured here have been disciplined for the action, even though it didn't even have their desired effect:

Parkview Baptist upset the higher-seeded Patterson 59-42 on Friday night.
