Chely Wright: Pregnant with Twins!

Chely Wright is about to be a first-time mother... of TWO babies!

The country singer and wife Lauren Blitzer-Wright announced today that they are expecting identical twins this summer, breaking the news to television personality Howard Bragman.

“We’re excited to be parents and we hope we don’t mess it up too badly!” Wright said.

The artist met her future wife just a couple weeks after coming out as gay in 2010. They were married in August 2011.

Wright said she's been suffering some nausea in the evenings, but couldn't be happier overall.

“We feel like God blessed us with twins. We feel our entire relationship has been blessed. We feel lucky and ready to take on the challenges.”
