Ann Romney was offered a spot on Dancing With the Stars this season, and seriously considered doing it, but eventually passed, according to reports.
The woman who would’ve been First Lady of the United States in 2013 actually appeared on last season’s finale and gushed that she was a big, big fan.
Ann Romney and producers had several meetings to try to hash out the details of her appearing this spring, but Ann ultimately decided against it.
She was approached shortly after her husband lost the 2012 election to President Barack Obama, since her schedule was suddenly very clear.
A rep for the wife of Mitt Romney confirms, “Ann Romney was approached, but she declined. She will not be appearing on Dancing with the Stars.”
Too bad. Would’ve been great to see her vie for the Mirror Ball.
