THG is counting down the 100 Hottest Bikini Bodies of 2012!

If you haven't figured it out by now, we've been paying tribute to the hottest of the hot with bikini photos galore, and the competition is flat out sweltering.

Keeping the heat rising at #13 here today: Britney Spears!

Most recently, Katy Perry bikini pictures made THG's hot list.

Now, it's the pop star whose career has spanned 13+ years.

Since bursting on the scene with "Baby One More Time," the not-so-innocent Britney Spears has defined an era in popular music and marketing.

If there's a dynamic performer with a better body and a more attractive face than Britney, well, we doubt there is, because she's sold 100 million albums.

Not all because of her powerhouse vocals, either. Just saying.

The Britney Spears of yesteryear was a sex symbol with no rival. Now 31, she keeps things a lot more low key, but she still brings it when needed.

She's been to the top of the celebrity world, and she's hit rock bottom. She's been through hell and back, as Chris Federline reminded us this week.

Through it all, she's persevered, and riveted us all the way.

Here's hoping that 2013 portends more good things for the mother of two, who is rumored to be going through another rough patch in her personal life.
