Man of Steel Trailer to Precede The Hobbit in Theaters

It's a bird... it's a plane... it's exciting news regarding the next Superman franchise!

The official theatrical trailer for Man of Steel will debut on December 14, prior to screenings of another surefire blockbuster, The Hobbit.

Man of Steel director Zack Snyder broke this news to MTV yesterday,telling the network:

"It will be fun to see our crazy Man of Steel trailer and then enjoy The Hobbit because that's going to be great...It just feels like a fun Christmas thing to do, drag the whole family out for that action."

Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill as the superhero who is faster than a speeding bullet, along with Kevin Coster, Russell Crowe and Amy Adams. It comes out on June 14, 2013.
