Im Catholic and my wife and I do not use birthcontrol. I dont care if 99.99999% OF catholics weren;t using birth control, the church still teaches that it's wrong. The bible also says never sin. But the reality is we all do so whats your point?

Santorum is one of those "Cafeteria Catholics", he picks and choose what he wants to rail about like the Affordable Healthcare Act. Where was his outrage with the priests who abused children. And he seems to be ad odds with the Bishops that support helping the unfortunate when it comes to Medicare and Medicaid. No one is forcing Catholic women to use birth control, but is is very evident that they do. Why don't you see large families in Church anymore. As you know many women choose surgical contraception in this day and age. Again, are men held to the same standard, have not heard any one banning vesectomy or Catholic doctors who perform them. Where is the outrage for the death penalty and Bush's unjust war. Is this a Catholic speaking on a politican who practices the "religion of Hypocrisy" ?? EEH Santorum and Ryan!!!.

Fact is....Catholics are mobilizing for Romney. Even if they use birth control. The Catholic Bishops got burned on Obama Care...this voting block has woke up. Obama won't care them this time.

There is a group, Catholics for Obama. Many catholic women are on some kind of birth control when they are trying to plan their family during child-bearing years. Obamacare is not attacking any religion. Religious freedom means that you can do what you want, take birth control or not. Go to a doctor or not. Making laws that takes away freedom from non-catholics or even non-christians is not religious freedom. As usual Santorum has it backwards. People who think that their christianity is at stake are dead wrong. No one wants to take away your right to go to church. No one is taking away your church or your bibles. The GOP has successfully divided this nation with misinformation, creating hate and war in our own country. Leave Church out of State!

I believe the quoted data about 98% of Catholic women having used contraception has been proven wrong. I can't even imagine that number being close to accurate. In addition, the Catholic Church is involved in MANY other organizations other than the physical church building: Catholic universities, hospitals, adoption agencies, Catholic Charities, etc. These organizations do not get the exemption that the church building workers get. The Supreme Court doesn't always get it right (Roe V Wade).
