Matt Bomer as Christian Grey: First (Fake) Look!

A pretty convincing, seductive fake!
The image, showing the White Collar star's blue eyes and flawless face, was leaked to the web with the headline "Fifty Shades of Grey: The Wait is Over" ...
"Matt Bomer talks about changing the white collar for a grey tie," the fan-made cover continues, implying that Bomer locked down the role of Christian Grey.
Casting for the movie role of the mysterious billionaire with an affinity for bondage / S&M has become a spectator sport for fans of E.L. James' bestseller.
Filmmakers confirm that Bomer's casting is just wishful thinking, though.
Dana Brunetti, one of the co-producers of the big screen adaptation, said on Twitter: "All of the rumors on #FiftyShades are just that - rumors. No one has been cast in any role."
"We have to get a writer and director first."
Bomer has been a fan favorite for Grey for a while now, but Bret Easton Ellis (who made no secret of wanting to adapt the saga before being dropped from consideration), said the notion of casting openly gay Bomer is ludicrous.

I'm not fussed that he's gay in general but to play this part I think women have to feel they could be Ana and have a chance with that person so really, he needs to be straight. Plus, I find Matt Bomer tends to act quite camp regardless of his character so I couldn't take him seriously. I'd prefer Alex Pettyfer - perfect!
It does not bother me that Matt Bomer is gay. Who cares? The fact of the matter is that Matt is Christian Grey. He's fit for the role. And I would love to see Emilia Clarke play Ana. PERFECT!!

I still think Ian Somerhalder would do better as Christian Grey. He has this sexy ambiance all the time. And I think Matt lacks in that department. Just saying! IAN SOMERHALDER ALL THE WAY!
Matt Bomer is perfect as Christian Grey. He's a great actor..and it doesn't matter if he's gay...he's very humble and real person..He has pure talent and he has the best and perfect look for this role....I love him in "white collar" he's very versatile and flexible...he is an actor with character and great talent.....go go go!!!! christian grey!!!
