Jacqueline Laurita of The Real Housewives of New Jersey makes a difficult admission in the latest People Magazine:
Her three-year old son has been diagnosed as Autistic.
The reality star says Nicholas began regressing with his speech patterns and motor skills around 18 months and "we had no idea what was going on."
But doctors soon made the diagnosis and Laurita and husband Chris have been dealing with the mental health issue ever since.
"I worry about him being independent when he's older," says Jacqueline, who is also the mother to Ashlee, 21, and C.J., 10. "I spend all my time researching what we can do for him."
Pick up the latest People on Friday for more on the family, including quotes from Chris, who admits: "You never want to think that your child isn't perfectly healthy. We didn't want to believe it was true."
