Floyd Mayweather Released from Prison
by Hilton Hater at .Floyd Mayweather has been released from prison, and just in time, too: the poor guy was totally wasting away in there!
The boxer served two months of a 90-day sentence for domestic battery and walked out of Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas yesterday. He hugged various friends and family members - including 50 Cent - on the way to his car, but did not say anything to the media.
Mayweather was jailed on June 1 after pleading guilty to an incident in September 2010 where he got physical with Josie Harris, the mother of his three children.
It's unclear, boxing-wise, what the future now holds for the undefeated champion.
Fans are clamoring for a Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao bout, yet there's little reason to believe this will happen any time soon. If ever. Mayweather has spoken of retirement and he did make $85 million in fight earnings last year - but when your nickname is "Money," you can never have enough.
We'll see him back in the ring soon.
