Taylor Swift Releases Official Video for "Safe and Sound"
Taylor Swift + Katniss Everdeen = Utter awesomeness.
Granted, the singer doesn't actually interact with the District 12 resident in the following video - which is for "Safe and Sound," the single by Swift and The Civil Wars that will be included on The Hunger Games soundtrack - but still. That notion makes us smile.
Below, watch as Taylor wanders around the forest alone, barefoot and ragged, never actually meeting with The Civil Wars (who opened for her at the 2012 Grammys), but eventually picking up the iconic Mockingjay pin from the books and perfectly honoring the story we all know and love.

No need to shoot Taylor Swift -- You should try and shoot all of her haters. Oh, sorry. That means you, right? Honestly, I don't think you have any right to criticize her. Keep your comments to yourself, and seriously, the fans don't really care -- It's an amazing song all on it's own. If you don't like her, don't bother wasting your finger energy to insult her.

Absolutely love this song, Taylor gives such raw emotion for this, its eerie and chilling. So glad the Civil Wars did this with her their vocals harmonies perfectly with her's.i love it so much, shes such a gifted song writer!

that was a 6 string guitarjo plays the same way as a guitar and all she was doing was chording .and the people fell for it

I was absolutely blown away by the "banjo" number she did at the Grammys! I really did not realize she was that talented. That's the kind of stuff I want to see more of. THIS video is overproduced and "sappy." (IMHO) ~0:-p
