Sarah Burge, "The Human Barbie," Gifts Daughter with Liposuction Voucher

by at .

Sarah Burge, a British woman known as "Human Barbie" because she has undergone so many plastic surgery procedures, presented her seven-year old daughter with a $10,000 voucher for liposuction as a Christmas present this year.

Yes. Seven-year old daughter. Voucher. Liposuction.

She defended the decision to The Daily Mail this week, saying "there's nothing wrong" with that as a stocking stuffer because daughter Poppy asks "for surgery all the time."

That's great and all. But she probably asks for cupcakes for dinner all the time, too. Doesn't the entire job of a parent involve deciding what's best for his or her young child?

"She wants to look good and lipo is one of those procedures that will always come in handy," added Burge, who was forced to repair her face multiple times many years ago after an incident of domestic violence. "I see these vouchers as investing in her future - like saving money for her education."

Burge dismisses the "stigma" around "wanting to look good" because she says girls want to grow up and be "like Cheryl Cole and Lady Gaga" and: "I'm just supporting her and making her dreams come true."

Do you agree? What do you think of presenting a seven-year old with the gift of liposuction?

Actually Ellis, it WAS a lipo voucher that Poppy was given for Xmas. The boob job voucher was previous to this. I think it's disgusting that a little girl should be given the idea that unnecessary surgery is a normal thing and that our worth is based on the way we look on the outside, rather than the people we are inside. People like this make me even surer that the civilised world should instigate a screening process for people who want children. These are not little dolls that are here for our amusement, these are little people who are going to grow up to be very twisted adults. There are many people who have children for the wrong reasons, and many who have children when they really really shouldn't. TBH...I think all of this is probably just another way for her to get her face in papers, magazines and on TV. It's nothing to do with Poppy, Poppy just happens to be a handy way to cause controversy. I think she's a hideous woman, no matter how 'lovely' she may be.

None of you have ever met Sarah therefore have no reason to comment on her or what she does. It was not a liposuction voucher it was a boob job voucher, she's not making Poppy use it, its there if she wants it when she's older. Sarah is a lovely woman and does the best for her children.
