If her movie career doesn't pick back up, she clearly has a future in soft core adult material. The nearly $1 million she banked may end up being a bargain for Playboy.
Nwsstands around the country are not only selling out, they're re-ordering the issue due to the incredible popularity of the Marilyn-themed Lindsay Lohan photos.
The 25-year-old has also boosted subscription sales to their online service, iPlayboy (dot) com, even after the premature leak of the Playboy pictures online.
The cover (above) supposed to be unveiled during Lohan's heavily-hyped interview on Ellen, which was rendered moot when the actress blew off the taping.
In any case, it's been a tough year for LiLo - rehab, a shoplifting conviction, house arrest, jail, few acting gigs - but the naked truth is, it's ending on a high note.

Im happy for Lindsay she is a beautiful woman. I dont know why people are posting hate or say they are not telling the truth about the sales. I wish her nothing but the best.
Who to believe, some say hot selling, some say not selling. People should stop whining about the poor economic times if they're stupid enough to buy something that is free on the internet and pictures that were already done before much, much better by someone else.
