The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion Recap: It's Bash Teresa Night!
It was bash Teresa Giudice night at The Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion but she certainly invited the abuse. THG breaks it all down in our + or - review ...
Jacqueline Laurita bowed out of the event. Minus 5. I always thought the players were contractually obligated to show up for these things, even when they all hated one another and looked like fools at the end. But it looked like Bravo let her slide.
The turmoil had something to do with Teresa and an event that took place in season four which was currently being filmed. I suppose that's more reason to tune in next season.
Caroline earned a Plus 12 when she admitted she was mean to Melissa and Kathy Waklie at the start of the season. She had judged them on what Teresa had told her before ever having met them. That was unfair but at least she owned up to it.
Teresa still swore what she wrote in her cookbook was nothing but a joke. She won't say which of her three sister in laws she was insulting and sees nothing wrong with throwing out barbs about Caroline's son. Minus 8. There was nothing funny in what she wrote and she can't see anyone's opinion but her own.
We had to sit through yet one more showing of the christening debacle. Minus 5. I hope to never have to watch that nonsense again. At least the housewives had the decency to lapse into stunned silence after it was shown.
Melissa Gorga earned a Plus 10 for admitting that her husband helped escalate the fight. That's progress. Another Plus 10 to Joe Gorga who supposedly told Caroline he regretted his actions and knew he was going to get a public beating after it was shown. Of course Caroline was blunt as ever and agreed with him.
When asked, Kathy said that Teresa and Joe Gorgas' tempers were acceptable. That they're just passionate people. Bull. Minus 11. They're adults who should know better than to scream, curse, and throw things like foul mouthed toddlers having a tantrum.
I don't mean to be the grammar nazi but what is with the "yous"? Listening to the Housewives families speak was like watching My Cousin Vinny week after week. Minus 10.
I almost couldn't believe that Teresa Giudice could tell Melissa she wasn't a good wife because she didn't invite herself to the premiere party while she was in the hospital with a newborn, then went on to accuse her of marrying Joe for his money and followed it up by saying Melissa was the one ruining things. "We're in a good place. Why are you going back there?" Does the woman not listen to what she says. She's the one who was dragging out past history. Minus another 10.
Did anyone else get the feeling that Teresa's completely clueless about her family's legal and financial troubles or that bankruptcy fraud could end them up in federal prison?
Her "call my lawyer" response to Andy was the smartest thing she said all night. Plus 8.
Plus 15 to Caroline Manzo who called the entire conversation a "whirlwind of stupid." Yup. That about sums it up.

I am so glad the other ladies on the show finally see Teresa for what she is. I have never seen a woman as jealous as she is. If anyone has success, Teresa can't stand it. And I can't believe she thinks kathy and Melissa needed her permission to get on the show. Teresa has no class. I don't get it that she has so many fans. No class and not very bright. That husband of hers Mr 2 by 4 is a thug. They deserve each other. When she modeled her bathing suits for everyone I became nauseated. Teresa couldn't hold a candle to Kathy and Melissa.

Teresa is a liar and a fraud. Caroline thinks she is Miss tough. And, Melissa thinks she is all that!! All of them need an intervention, and all of them are committing some type of crime. (except Melissa and Joe Gorga)I liked the way Andy put
Caroline on the spot about her husband,and why he got fired, her answer was bull----! However, the show is very entertaining!!!

Teresa is a capital B-atch!!! She spits on the people that will truely have her back in a time of need and always doing the cross and kissing to God... Ha what a joke she is. Doesnt she know the way she acts is the reason for all her bad luck and lawsuits?! She should probably read her bible, get to know that person she acts like shes kissing to, and act more respectable instead of a jealous tyrant!

I can not believe how teresa makes it look like it is everyone elses fault.If you were a true friend,cousin and sister-in-law you would say,yes I do have my faults but you have showed me that you are A FAKE PERSON.sometimes you get what you deserve.you have ruined the sisters caroline and dina and it is very sad that you don't take nothing as your own.you pretty much make me sick now.YOU ARE A FAKE.I hope the rest of you girls just get back together,you need one another.and jackie I hope things get better for you just worry about your family and the hell with all the rest.you really should give ashley a kick in the ass remember this chris she has you wrapped around her little finger and one day you guys won't be there then what.ashley your a grown women act like it.lol

When Caroline says that Theresa was never her friend, she is making the statement in regards to the fact that what she thought was a friendship never really was. Caroline is loyal, sensitive, and protective of her family, real friends and beliefs. She's strong and yet can cry because she sees the pity of it all. Theresa lives in a inflated bubble of herself. Her views and standards apply only to others, and not her. The words "spontaneously petty" are good to describe Theresa. She's not a bad person really, just clueless and very insensitive to others and this causes her to get nasty. She entitles herself to act as she pleases without any regard of the situation or consequence. It's o.k. with her. Why? Because in Theresa's world she thinks she's a nice person. Her excuse will always be, "Oh, we're all family here" or "It was just a joke" or "It's just me being me, I didn't mean anything by it". She just doesn't get it, or at least acts like she doesn't. I would like to know where the "Real" is in all of these shows? These are not real families with real issues. They are all supposedly rich., some famous, some trying to get there. But these are not things or events that play into our everyday lives out here. Money can make people evil. Competition is the enemy. All families have difficult times. All friends go through rough patches. But really, this is for entertainment. Love or hate them, they have us watching. We can sit and express our feelings and tell them that they should do this or that. Whatever it is that makes them who they are, it is not up to us to judge. Watch the show for what it is and take care of your own lives. I wish them all well and hope they find a way out of all that is tearing them apart.
