Shia LaBeouf: Leaving the Transformers Franchise!

by at . Comments

He lasted one more movie than Megan Fox did, Shia LaBeouf made it clear today: he's finished with the Transformers franchise.

"I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think [director Michael Bay] will either," the actor told MTV News. "It's still a hot property, I think, especially coming out of the third one. So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else."

But should they?

LaBeouf does claim Dark of the Moon is the "best movie" yet, in terms of "action and geography." But critics slammed the sequel and many consider the franchise to be the epitome of mindless, summer trash.

Do you think there should be a fourth Transformers?

i think Shia is an excellent actor. Transformers won't be the same without him. He is funny and cute. I know Bumble bi will miss him too.

There can’t be another Tranformers movie without Shia LaBeouff aka Sam Witwicky, because it won’t obviously be the same without him. he makes a good fit for the movie and any other actor for the movie will not be the same. With him in the movie it all ties it together. Personally i think Shia LaBeouff should stay for the following Transformers movies.

The infamous Wonderland interview took place in September 2009. Six months before Megan Fox returned to the set of Transformers 3. Unfortunately, six weeks into filming Transformers 3, Megan resigned from the lead actress role. Allegedly, Michael Bay sexually harassed her so much, she chose to leave the franchise. Fast forward 16 months and Michael Bay has put out a different story about Megan's absence from the negative reviewed film. Megan's replacement is part of the reason for the negative reviews. Despite, never meeting Megan, Rosie called her a b****. This is part of the negative promotion to draw attention away from the terrible over rated action film. I hope someday Megan address Shia Labeaouf's classless comments about her in Details magazine. There is no reason for Shia to publicly attack Megan, she's not even in Transformers 3. He claim to be Megan's friend but, I highly doubt Megan feels the same way.
