Therefore, the host of Extra and America's Best Dance Crew has naturally signed on to star in a new reality show.

Continuing the confusing trend started by Scott Baio, Kendra Wilkinson and Bethenny Frankel, Lopez is the latest D-list celebrity to land his own series simply because he's expecting a child.

Says VH1 executive Jeff Olde of the former Saved by the Bell star: "Our audience has watched Mario go from a kid in a fictional high school to a man who has succeeded in many different facets of the TV business."
