Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson Top List of 2009 American Music Awards Winners
This is Taylor Swift's year.
While she wasn't on hand personally, the 19-year-old pocketed a leading five prizes, including the biggest, Artist of the Year, at Sunday's American Music Awards.
Screw you, Kanye! Meanwhile, Michael Jackson was a close second.
The late King of Pop won four posthumous awards, including Favorite Pop/Rock Artist, an impressive feat when you're not alive, bringing his AMA career total to 25.
And, capping a box-office-busting weekend for New Moon, The Twilight Saga even got in on the action, scoring the prize for Favorite Soundtrack for the first film.

Music without a doubt is one of the best things created by humans. But..unfortunetly music has fallen drastically over the years. Taylor Swift is a perfect example. She's average at its best, sorry. I play guitar and her guitar playing skills are very basic, dull and average. Her singing is not good, not saying it's particularly BAD but it's definetly not good. oh and don't get me started on her music. "she wears short skirts I wear tshirts"? what the fuck is that? a 12 year old could write that.

I don't hate Taylor-Okay? I'm just saying because I think everyone has different opinions and they should all be..you know like heard so I don't totally disagree with you guys though I like MJ better but people have different likings or whatever so don't get all angus on me plz.But totally agree with Mary. TS's voice hasn't even develped yet and all her songs are like..girly and stuff while MJ wrote songs about the world and things that really mattered. And Sara its Kanye not Kenya..unless you spell it differently coz u live in a different country well then that's 'kay ^0^. And by the way Barracudared, MJ has so released a song in the last 20 years dumbo!.. Like Bad, Dangerous, History, Invincible, This is it. Like can't you count or something??? Oh yeah, sorry you can't. I also agree with Marj that the Kanye incident gave her more publicity. I remember that a lot of people felt sorry for her after that around here.. And people think that MJ only won awards because he died. Excuse me?

I LOVE TAYLOR BUT SERIOUSLY BEST ARTIST OF THE YEAR????? SHE AINT THAT! MICHAEL JACKSON SHOULD HAVE WON IT BUT MJ IS ARTIST OF THE CENTURY. AND I DONT GET IT TAYLOR DOESNT HAVE A FANTASTIC VOICE BUT SHE GETS ALL THESE AWARDS???
